Drug Enforcement in Douglas County and the Greater Denver Metro
Our guests are Douglas County Sheriff Brad Proulx, drug enforcement task force and SWAT team leader, and Sgt. Nick Stamos, drug investigation lead. Both men are highly experienced in dealing with the law enforcement challenges of illegal drug trafficking.
How does local law enforcement identify and begin to investigate a possible illegal drug event? How do you work? How often are local citizens involved in reporting? What organizations are involved? How would the local Douglas County Sheriff’s work with the DEA, FBI etc.? What drugs are coming into Colorado most frequently? How are they usually brought in?
